Attica Ventures participates in the 6th Venture Capital Forum

Attica Ventures (a member of the Attica Bank Group, managing venture capital funds) is taking an active part, as a Gold Sponsor, in the 6ï Venture Capital Forum, organized by the Hellenic Center for Investment (ELKE), the New Economy Development Fund (ÔÁÍÅÏ) and the Praxis Network (14-15 June 2005 at the Hotel Grande Bretagne). Its involvement demonstrates the company’s strategic decision to support important and worthwhile initiatives intended to strengthen the entrepreneurial climate and investment in Greek SMEs. The Forum will provide an opportunity for discussion and networking among some sixty business concept and venture capital companies active in implementing investments in Greece. It should be pointed out that through this process, and the 5th VC Forum, Attica Ventures had the opportunity to make the first of its investments to date in the e-Global company. Meanwhile, in its attempt to support and extend the institution and role of the Venture Capital Funds, Attica Ventures will be supporting other worthy initiatives in the immediate future – launched by independent agencies, universities and research centres and designed to strengthen entrepreneurship and highlight investment opportunities. For example, the company will be sponsoring the 2nd International Biotechnology Conference to be held in Athens from 1-3 July 2005, under the aegis of the Ministry of Development.
